International Standards Meeting organised by EuropeActive is held during 23-24 November 2017 in Rome as a part of the European Skills Week. This event brings together all stakeholder from the fitness industry in order to discuss strategies on how to communicate and implement the standards and to ensure the best quality of the European health & fitness sector.
The SIQAF task force is now entering it's last phase of the project. During it's past meeting which took place November 22-23 in Rome, partners from the Active Leisure sector and international qualification experts putting together the outcomes of the past months.
The Conference of HEPA Europe was held on 15th-17th November 2017 in the University of Zagreb, Croatia. This year the main topic was “Modern approaches to physical activity promotion and measurement”. Events also included the annual meeting of HEPA Europe and parallel sessions of most of its working groups.
EuropeActive will participate to the 8th Conference of HEPA Europe on November 15 to 17, 2017 in Zagreb, Croatia. The event is hosted by the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Zagreb and cosponsored by WHO/Europe. The conference will address the main theme of “Modern approaches to physical activity promotion and measurements”.
EuropeActive is pleased to confirm that it has been selected for a project in the Erasmus+ Programme in Key Action 3 which is looking to reform initiatives for policy innovation in the area of recognising international qualifications/frameworks in the context of the EQF. The project includes the European Confederation of Outdoor Employers (EC-OE) and will take the active leisure sector qualification framework (SQF) through the stages of referencing directly to the EQF.
