After presenting the SIQAF project to the Belgian and Slovenian national authorities, EuropeActive’s director of programmes, Cliff Collins and EREPS’s Director Professional Standards Committee, Julian Berriman met the Greek government today to discuss referencing of European qualifications with the Greek Government. Further consultations with national authorities are scheduled and first outcomes will be presented on Thursday 5th October during the European Qualification Framework (EQF) advisory group meeting.

In cooperation with the European Confederation of Outdoor Employers (EC-OE), EuropeActive is working on improving skills recognition in the member states in the field of active leisure. This will mean that fitness and outdoor qualifications in the future will have a better understanding, recognition and acceptance in Europe and will strengthen the fitness sector position as a whole.

More information on the meeting will be published soon at our blog, active-leisure-alliance.eu
