EU affairs: Connecting the dots between the Directorates of the European Commission

You are here

EuropeActive can look back to a very successful past 4 weeks with four high-level bilateral meetings across the Directorates Generals (DG) of the European Commission: DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (GROW), DG Education and Culture (EAC) and DG Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL).

EuropeActive’s EU affairs team is committed to place the fitness sector within the diverse policy areas of the DGs: skills & qualifications, labour market mobility, employment, sectoral social dialogue, health-enhancing physical activity, and anti-doping. These meetings are an integral part of the work of the EU affairs team to inform about progress made with EU-co-funded projects and to update on the developments and challenges the European Fitness industry and professionals are facing.
